I am Assistant (Grado 2) at IMERL, Faculty of Engineering and at CMAT, Faculty of Sciences of the UdelaR, Montevideo. Before I was PEDECIBA postdoc at Udelar, Montevideo, from September 2023 to August 2025, where I worked with Matilde Martínez and Rafael Potrie. Before that, I obtained my PhD at LPSM, Sorbonne Université, Paris, under the supervision of Yves Coudène.

The general goal of my research is to understand systems with weak forms of hyperbolicity, focusing on topological and ergodic properties of the unstable foliation. The term weak hyperbolicity refers to both systems where the amount of contraction and expansion depends on the point and systems having a central or neutral direction. More precisely, I work in these two settings:

  • Horocyclic flows or horospherical foliations of surfaces or manifolds with nonpositive curvature or without conjugated points.
  • Horocyclic flows on the unit tangent bundle of foliations by hyperbolic surfaces.
